Security Analytics Leader Brings Security Analytics to Fast Growth Southeast Asian Market
LOS ANGELES, CA–(Marketwired – May 23, 2016) – Securonix, the pioneer behind big data security analytics that detect enterprise security threats, continues its global expansion across APAC with new offices in Bangalore, India, the company announced today. Bangalore is fast becoming a Southeast Asian hub for many of the globe’s largest multinational organizations, one third of which are Securonix customers.
“India and the greater Southeast Asian region is one of the fastest growing markets in the world,” said Securonix CEO Sachin Nayyar. “As the largest and most influential global enterprises expand throughout the region, we’ll be right there beside them to deliver the threat prevention and detection capabilities they need to protect themselves against the most advanced external and insider threats.”
Securonix was the first to develop enterprise security applications of user and entity behavior analytics (UEBA) that combat advanced, targeted, cyber, and insider threats with real-time, deep learning capabilities. Its customer base includes nearly one third of the financial services organizations in the Fortune 500. It is the industry-leading enterprise security analytics solution provider in North America, and the fastest growing player internationally.
Securonix’s Bangalore office is its second in India: the company also has offices in Pune, the business center of the Indian state of Maharashtra. To support its rapid growth, Securonix hired Ramakrishna Murthy to act as Director of APAC. Murthy previously managed global IT Infrastructure initiatives at GE. He has spent his career leading the design, implementation, integration and operations for enterprise-wide infrastructure and security monitoring services.
“I’m honored to join such a cohesive and energetic team,” said Murthy. “Coming from a large organization, the biggest difference I see is speed: the speed of innovation, solution development and execution. We’re solving our customers’ most complex security problems with an agility and creativity that is unmatched in the industry.”
