Paubox Announces New Kahikina Scholarship For College Students at Paubox SECURE

The new college scholarship program aims to encourage more Native Hawaiians to be involved in computer science and technology career paths.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Paubox will host the 2nd annual Paubox SECURE conference on Friday, March 29, 2019 at Bespoke Events and announce their new college scholarship.

WHAT:
The Kahikina Scholarship was created to encourage more Native Hawaiians to be involved in computer science and technology career paths. It is a $1,000 annual award that renews up to five years as long as the recipient is enrolled in an accredited college or university. The winner will be announced at Paubox SECURE, a healthcare cybersecurity conference.

WHO:
The inaugural winner, Nick Wong is currently a freshman at the University of California, Berkeley. He is originally from Nu’uanu, Hawaii on the island of Oahu.
