Mike Lloyd


CTO, RedSeal

Dr. Mike Lloyd is CTO of RedSeal and has more than 25 years of experience in the modeling and control of fast-moving, complex systems. He has been granted 21 patents on security, network assessment, and dynamic network control.

Before joining RedSeal, Mike Lloyd was Chief Technology Officer at RouteScience Technologies (acquired by Avaya), where he pioneered self-optimizing networks. Mike served as principal architect at Cisco on the technology used to overlay MPLS VPN services across service provider backbones. He joined Cisco through the acquisition of Netsys Technologies, where he was the senior network modeling engineer.

Dr. Mike Lloyd holds a degree in mathematics from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, and a PhD in stochastic epidemic modeling from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland.

Wayne Lloyd

Wayne Lloyd has over 25 years of field experience in information technology with the last 15 years directly focusing on cybersecurity including computer and network security, advanced threat analysis, intrusion detection and operations, vulnerability risk assessment and policy and compliance. Wayne ran data center operations for 10 years in the intelligence community and 12 years conducting Blue and Red Team assessments of mission systems within the intelligence community.

Before joining RedSeal, Wayne was the team lead for the FAA’s cyber protection team. Working closely with DoD, the intelligence community and federal civilian agencies, he focused on security and network engineering solutions that delivered actionable recommendations and remediation strategies, based on the mission requirements and the current system and network security state. Engaged in strategic customer projects including Cloud, Mobility, Data Center / Network Consolidation and Virtualization, he specializes in identifying the cyber strategies needed to effectively secure the client infrastructure as a whole.

Byron Love


Program Manager, AlphaSix Corporation

Byron Love has over 33 years of experience in information technology. A retired Air Force Major with 21 years of active duty and Reserves service, Byron is a program manager at AlphaSix Corporation, where he leads a $60 million cybersecurity program for a large government agency. Previously, he led a $30 million program to convert every Air Force dental clinic world-wide to digital dentistry. He also performed as Sr. Program Manager for a 270-person, $26 million per year State Department contract, managing State’s global IT Service Center and providing secure desktop support for 29,000 desktops.

Byron holds an MBA from Averett University, a BA in Computer Science from Thomas Edison State University, and Program Management Professional (PgMP), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certifications. Successfully brought Kazuhisa Ishii to the L.A. Dodgers, and Shingo Takatsu to the Chicago White Sox, then helped establish a long term partnership with the largest talent agency in Japan to continue bringing players to the U.S. 

Jon serves on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Institute of National Security Affairs, and is a member of JINSA’s Homeland Security Committee. Jon is also the founder, and Chairman Emeritus of the Fuel For Truth organization, a national Israel advocacy organization recognized by the U.S. congress in 2007. Jon recently joined the Interfaith Board of Governors of the Eagles Wings Ministries.
