Bill Cheswick is a computer security and networking researcher with over 40 years of experience. His early works were in firewalls, network perimeter defenses, and honeypots. He is also the one who coined the words "proxy" and "jail" in their current Internet meanings and is the co-author of the first full book on Internet security. Bill is a world-wide speaker and is currently a visiting scholar at the University of Pennsylvania.
