Identity, privacy, and cybersecurity A conversation with Sarah Squire.jpg

By Marco Ciappelli, host of The Cyber Society

On this podcast you are about to listen to is how Sean Martin and I started the RSA Conference week, and we are happy it started this way. Our guest is Sarah Squire, a Senior Technical Architect at Ping Identity.

She is a board member of the OpenID Foundation and a co-author of NIST 800-63-3 Digital Identity Guidelines. One of her mission is to make Identity and Privacy concepts more understandable in this connected cybersociety so that people can make an educated decision about what they share, with who and how.

Named one of the top 100 influencers in identity, Sarah has spoken on information security at the RSA Conference, the Cloud Identity Summit, and InfoSec World.

She also happens to be a gracious person, and we truly enjoyed this conversation that set the tone with positive energy and a topic that would become one of the recurring themes throughout the RSA Conference: the merging of identity, privacy, and cybersecurity in one entity. How we define it and how we can protect it.

I think you will enjoy this conversation.
