Andrew Fitch, Developer Evangelist at Cloudflare, a web performance and security company, chats with ITSPmagazine’s Selena Templeton about Proudflare, an LGBTQIA+ employee group at Cloudflare that provides a safe place to network with other gay-friendly people.

Tune in to hear Andrew share what prompted the creation of this employee group, the difficulties of putting it together, what the goals and benefits are for the group and how it improves the culture of the company, whether there are any detriments to a specific ERG, and he shares some tips as to how other companies can support all their employees with an inclusive environment.

Andrew Fitch, Developer Evangelist at Cloudflare, a web performance and security company, works in Developer Relations at Cloudflare in San Francisco. He leads Proudflare, Cloudflare's LGBTQIA+ resource group, which now has chapters and events in each of Cloudflare's four major offices: San Francisco, London, Singapore, and Austin. Andrew is from Massachusetts and has a background in International Studies and Political Science which led him to study in the UK, China, and Italy. He is a passionate burner, traveler, political activist, and outdoor adventurer.
